Artist Statement

My work explores the role of light in contemporary painting and the way it shapes perception, atmosphere, and emotional experience. Light becomes both subject and medium in my practice—sometimes intense and directional, sometimes soft and diffused, almost immaterial.

Through abstract painting and layered surfaces, I explore how light interacts with color, texture, and space. These elements create visual environments that move between presence and memory, between the physical surface of the painting and the viewer’s inner experience.

My artistic process is guided by observation and intuition. Each painting develops gradually, allowing light, color, and gesture to form compositions that invite stillness and contemplation.

In my painting portfolio, light becomes more than a visual element—it becomes a way to create atmosphere and emotional connection, encouraging viewers to pause and discover their own interpretations within the work.
