ATHENS OPEN ART Exhibition – My Participation as an Emerging Abstract Artist
In March 2026, I had the opportunity to participate in ATHENS OPEN ART, a group exhibition hosted at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens. The exhibition ran from March 11 to March 18, with the official presentation taking place on March 15.
The event was organized through an open call by Gallery Art Number 23 and featured a diverse selection of artists from Greece and abroad. It created a dynamic environment where contemporary artistic approaches, especially in abstract painting, were presented and shared with the public.
I participated with three abstract oil paintings: Trace, Silence (a diptych), Dipiction, and Fog. These works are part of my ongoing exploration of light as both a visual and emotional element.
Participating in ATHENS OPEN ART marked an important step in my artistic journey. It was my first time presenting my work in a group exhibition of this scale, connecting with other artists, and engaging with an audience in a professional setting. I also had the opportunity to share my work more actively, introduce myself.
The experience itself was highly valuable. It strengthened my motivation to continue developing my artistic voice and to pursue further opportunities in the contemporary art scene.
If you are interested in abstract art, contemporary painting, or following my artistic journey, feel free to explore more of my work or get in touch.
